Trend to try—bomber jackets

The cold winter air may have you feeling blue, especially as we patiently wait for summer where floaty sundresses and crop tops await. Don’t worry, there are plenty of ways to stay warm and chic in August, what better than a bomber jacket to throw over your shoulders and complete your outfit?

Khaki

Being a relatively neutral and flattering colour, khaki is easily the most popular choice of bomber jacket you’ll find. Khaki goes well with black and white striped tees, jeans, boots, and converse: you name it! Feel free to dress it up or grunge it down, it’s a versatile shade.

Pink

The key to pulling off a baby pink bomber, is making it all about that pop of colour. Keep prints to a minimal and pair with black or white denim, cute strappy sandals and other neutral tones to really make that jacket stand out. Bonus points for fresh, natural-looking makeup!

Black

Black is literally the easiest colour to wear , so mix it with any colour that tickles your fancy. However since the shape of the bomber is so bulky, keep the jeans skinny and the shirts simple so you don’t drown in your jacket!

Embroidered

For an edgier style, you can try a plain coloured bomber jacket with some cute, embroidered designs. These are most commonly found across the back, sleeves and lapels, which takes a plan coloured jacket up a notch. Pair with boots or sneakers in a nod to grunge, and a plain or simple print shirt of choice. I’d recommend keeping the jeans black or blue to really keep the focus on the design on your jacket.
